Hi All,
The pulse has started again for our project...:-)
Just a quick recap on what was discussed in the Skype meeting:
Filming Schedule:
Saturday: Libby on farm, focusing on pre-production...meeting people, sourcing good shot locations
Sunday: Libby & Tom on farm, really focusing on getting loads of face interviews, action shots
Monday: Libby, Ellie & Zadrian on farm, focusing on getting landscape, animals and action shots
Libby will act as main point of contact for this weekend's filming as the farm people are most familiar with her.
Important tidbits to remember:
Logging:
1. It's important that since we will have so much footage coming in to ensure that all tapes are labeled with date as well (Tape 1, Tape 2, Tape 3, etc.)
2. For each filming day, one person should be in charge of keeping a chronological log of what is being filmed (brief synopsis) and the full names of interviewees.
3. At the end of each filming day while everything is fresh, if logs can be typed and organized and submitted to Tom it will make the whole process organized when we get to the edit room.
*This will make post-production much easier.
Filming Children:
1. Overview shots are okay.
2. Get approval from parents for close-ups shots.
Also, Libby purchased 3 tapes today, will need to work out reimbursement and how many more tapes we need. Will have a better idea after this weekend's filming.
Other Updates:
1. Libby made an amazing contact with Rankin!!! Sent questions to him, etc. and visited gallery. Art section coming along nicely.
2. Ellie has had trouble contacting someone with regards to the food section, but plans to visit in person. Focus might revolve around organic, eco-friendly to tie in with the farm. She will bring further research on Monday.
Monday Dinner:
Libby will finalize time for dinner after filming on Sunday. Dinner will follow filming on Monday at Pizza Express.
1. This meeting will be an important creative meeting as we finalize name of magazine and select a tentative layout. Please bring all final ideas to be discussed.
2. Bring any section ideas, etc. as well.
Enjoy the last few days off.
